Tourists’ view about the role of catering centers’ facilities around Anzali lagoon in attracting tourists

Catering attractions of the tourist regions are considered as crucial factors in tourists’ moving and travelling because many tourists across the country tend to be at such places. In Guilan province, rest, tourism, leisure, recreation and enjoying the relative mild weather were main objectives of the trip and only a few tourists travel to the province with other motivation. Using the map and data analysis in SPSS, GIS and Excel and through questionnaire method, this study has tried to examine the role of catering centers’ facilities in attracting tourists. Statistical population of this study is all passengers inside and outside of Guilan province who have traveled to Anzali lagoon on Shahrivar 1390.The research results suggest that sanitary status, food status, food quality, catering services and servicing in various fields are among facilities affecting on tourist attraction. Also, women and passengers from outside Guilan believe in the role of catering centers’ facilities in attracting tourists than men and passengers from inside Guilan. There is significant difference between the views of Anzali lagoon’s passengers in different income groups; those living in private houses expect more from catering centers’ facilities of Anzali lagoon.
