The survey role of conversion and complementary small Industries related to agriculture on improving the livelihoods of rural households (Case Study: darreh shahr county of Ilam province)

This study investigated the role of conversion and complementary small industries related to agriculture on Livelihood assets of working families in this type of industries in thetwo times before and after employment. For this purpose, the Livelihood approach is applied as analytical theory. In this approach, household's livelihood assets are divided into five categories, including human, financial, social, physical and natural capitals.Scope of this study is darreh shahr county of Ilam province. The number of workers insmall industries in the villages studied is 460 patients, of which 138 patients wereavailable for responding to the questionnaire were selected as the sample size. To gather of research information, is used of Method of Survey and complete the questionnaire andinterviews with practitioners. In addition, with Use of t-statistics was paid to the analysis of the questionnaire results in the SPSS Software environment. The results showed that With the exception of the components of physical capital, on the other components ofhuman capital, financial, social, physical and the average amount of total capital employed in the small business sector employment at the time of employment is higher than the pre-employment and the establishment of small industries in murals in the countyunder study had a positive effect on household assets employed in this sector. The result is an increase in household livelihoods assets, reduce poverty, reduce vulnerability of rural households and prevent.
