Iran’s Development Needs: Opportunities for the World

In the near future, when Iran is freer from United Nations’ sanctions, i.e., March 2016 (President Rouhani is more optimistic and has said that sanctions will be removed by the end of 2016), she will embark on many development projects, which will necessarily create many business opportunities for other countries to participate and benefit from. This paper will discuss Iran’s recent history vis-à-vis the rest of the world, its needs, and its business opportunities. Itwill discuss the current conditions. Second, it will present an educated guess about the direction of the country. Finally it will offer options for business opportunities that would emerge.
