Investigation of activities of Forooghi encountering with the West culture in Iran

Muhammad Ali Forooghi (1256-1321) is one of the leading figures in contemporary Iranian history and he is more known for being a Freemason as well as founding the Pahlavi with his efforts than his ideas and thoughts. There is no complete understanding of him yet, and if there is any, it is more in the realm of political issues. Assomeone who made efforts to translate wisdom in Europe into fluent Persian, it is necessary to study his ideas. To avoid political issues about him we should set aside many prejudices that have been made about him and to do so properly, these issues should be ignored to beaddressed in due course. In Forooghis’ (known as Zoka’almlk) framework of thought, you need to point out nationalism, scientism,West modern philosophy and rationality, a very important frame that fertilized his thoughts and ideas and created a highly influential man.Forooghi was not a Western and dreamed about cultural independence and prosperity of his nation, and he used his thoughts and ideas for the welfare and rosperity of his community. While he had his ideas and was a master both in West classical and modern philosophy, beside all this, he was very active and influential in the field of politics.
