Presentation of mental health promotion model of the South Pars Gas Complex employees

چکیده مقاله:

The overall goal of this research is to investigate the factors affecting mental health promotion of South Pars Gas Complex employees. For this end, mental health is defined according to Goldberg theory and factors affecting it are identified in 54 factors by studying books, articles and previous researches. The population of this study includesemployees of South Pars gas complex that is 2200 people.The sample size based on Cochrane relationship is estimated to be 327 people and has been selected using stratified random sampling method.Data collection tools are two questionnaires; one is Goldberg mental healthquestionnaire and the other is the questionnaire of factors affecting employees' mental health promotion using factor analysis that wasgiven to sample after assessing its reliability and validity. Descriptive and inferential statistical methods have been used for statistical analysisof data collected. Thus, descriptive statistical method has been used for classification, summarization and interpretation of statistical data and atinferential level, one-sample t-test has been used to measure the mental health and exploratory factor analysis has been used for identification offactors affecting the mental health promotion and Friedman test with spss software have been used for prioritization of factors affectingmental health promotion.The results indicate that the promotion of mental health of employees in South Pars Gas Complex is aboveaverage.Also according to the results obtained from exploratory factor analysis, 12 factors were identified from among the 54 primary factorsaffecting South Pars gas complex employees' mental health and were classified in three groups: personal factors, organizational factors andoccupational factors. According to the results obtained from Friedman test, from among personal factors affecting mental health of south parsgas complex employees, perfectionism of employees had the greatest effect and beliefs and values of employees had the least effect; fromamong organizational factors affecting mental health of south pars gas complex employees, organizational culture had the greatest effect andhappiness in the workplace had the least effect; from amongoccupational factors affecting mental health of south pars gas complex employees, the factor of the variety of job skills of employees had the greatest effect and occupational attachment of employees had the leas effect on south pars gas complex employees' mental health. Fromamong the three factors affecting mental health promotion of South Pars Gas Complex employees, organizational factors had the greatest effectand occupational factors had the least effect on mental health promotion of employees of south pars gas complex .
