چکیده مقاله:
Concrete recycling gains importance because it protects natural resources and eliminates the need for disposal by using the readily available concrete as an aggregate source for new concrete. The objective of this research is to produce self-compacting concrete (SCC) from recycled concrete aggregate according to the requirement of the fresh and hardened properties of this concrete. The percentage of substitution of coarse and fine aggregate by the recycled aggregate is 50and100% Five basic categories of self-compacting concrete are used: self-compacting concrete without recycled aggregate (conventional), self-compacting concrete incorporating 50and100%recycled coarse aggregate, self-compacting concrete incorporating 50and100% recycled fine aggregate The results shows that SCC with 50% coarse recycled concrete H2 undergoes decrease incompressive strength at age7 days when compared to conventional SCC and it a little decrease in compressive strengths at age of 28 days; while in compressive strength decreases at age of 90 days compared with conventional SCC. Self-compacting concrete with replacement of 100% coarse recycled concrete aggregate H3 showed decrease in the compressive strength at different ages in range 6-15 percent when compared with conventional self-compacting concrete. On the other hand; selfcompacting concrete with replacement of 50-100% fine recycled concrete aggregate H4 , H5 showed decrease in the compressive strength at different ages in range between 7-19% and 15-24 %respectively when compared with conventional self-compacting concrete
