Prevalence and distribution of antibiotic resistance to tetracycline resistance genes in uropathogenic Escherichia coli isolated from patients with urinary tract infection by Multiplex-PCR

Urinary tract infection is one of the most prevalent diseases in human. E. coli is the most common cause of this infection. Unfortunately, the indiscriminate use of antibiotics leads to resistance in bacteria gradually. The aims of this study was to determine the prevalence and distribution of antibiotic resistance to tetracycline resistance genes in E. coli isolated from patients referred to Sanandaj, Boroujerd and Tehran hospitals
