چکیده مقاله:

Fluoroquinolone are the common antibacterial agents in treatment of urinary tract infection. It is suggested that quinolone resistance in gram negative bacteria has been mainly associated with mutation in gyr gene. Urinary tract infection isolates of Klebsiella pneumonia were investigated for fluoroquinolone resistance and the role of gyrA gene mutation in resistance.
