The Influence of Genetic Polymorphism CYP1B1 and Breast Cancer

The etiological significance of estrogens in the pathogenesis of breast cancer is widely accepted. Estrogens can stimulate cell proliferation or can act as a procarcinogen. CYP1B1 gene which is involved in estrogen metabolism has a potentially important role in tumourigenesis. In this study, a polymorphisms r 1056827 was evaluated with breast cancer of Iranian population.
