چکیده مقاله:

During the recent decades, the volume of scientificpublications from developing nations has beendramatically increased, and Iran was among those withrising rate [1]. Nonetheless, the policies which areemployed to direct scientific endeavors should behighly regarded in order to facilitate the process;unless wrong or inconsistent policies have thepotential to simply burn the achievements and divertthe direction to a final collapse.Recently in the media, you can overwhelmingly hearthat they talk about making wealth from science asincentive to promote scientific productions as abusiness. Although there are some positive prospectsin this approach, we believe that this won’t workperfect for long. The problem with this approach isthat those who come into research through this motiveare highly likely to end in either of this results: To tryto find some safe markets to make easy money for aunique or a limited number of products which will bean end to innovations and dedication of the nation’sresources for luxuries; or to leave the country to fulfilltheir purpose more perfectly in another country aftermaking some initial advancements. Scientificpromotion is a process that necessitates constant andnever ending efforts. A scientific product (e.g. amedical agent) which is now the best, will highlyprobable to loss its value just within less than a decade. The speed of promotion needed to stay in competitionis such high which will not be served unless a highlevel of self-sacrifice is made. Scientific institutionsshould make large amounts of investments in a waythat doesn’t warrant a success. And all this will not beprepared by those whose major motive in this regardwas financial matters.
