چکیده مقاله:

Hazardous heavy metal pollution of wastewater is one of the most important environmental problems throughout the world. Heavy metals such as Zinc are the most common pollutants such high concentrations usually are found in industrial wastewater and cause damage to the liquid environment and human beings. Various technologies have been examined for eliminating zinc from wastewaters including chemical precipitation, electrochemical treatment, ion exchange, membrane separation, and adsorption. Among these, adsorption processes generally offer the greatest advantages for removing metals from waters, especially at very low metal concentrations. In recent years many different kind of adsorbents have been used for heavy metals adsorption. This study reported different kind of adsorbent that have used for separating zinc from aqueous solution, their advantages and Adsorption parameters such as PH, adsorption capacity, etc obtained in previous research done in this field. In this case study suitibility of various adsorbents were investigated. This study is a review papare. About 51 published studies (1996e2015) are reviewed in this paper.
