چکیده مقاله:

The qanat system consists of underground channels that convey water from aquifers in highlands to the surface at lower levels by gravity. Nowadays expansion of cities, Population growth and changing agricultural land to commercial sites are problems for engineers. Therefore, one of the most important parameters in performance of every constructing project is the analysis of undersurface condition to assure the land fitness for structure establishment. GPR is a non-destructive technique and can consequently be applied in urban and sensitive environments. In order to assessment of the location of Sarooj Commercial Complex construction placed in Qods Street have used GPR test with two types of 50 and 250 MHz antennas. The study area was divided into three parts including site 1, site 2and the adjacent streets. In this site, 36 sections were studied. There are some anomalies related to well storages, indicates the presence of aqueducts, probably indicate the branches of water pipes and routes of aqueducts
