چکیده مقاله:

In order to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of Health, Safety, Environment and Ergonomic programs, the integration and continuous monitoring of these systems is necessary. This study has been done in Sarkhon and Gheshm Gas Refinery in Iran during 2004-2005. In first step the existing information systems and their effect on personals were evaluated. Then the HSEE performance indicators were determined. The number of indicators was 244. After that by designing and implementing of the continuous monitoring system, the mentioned indicators were measured and controlled continually. In cases that the indicators showed deviation from defined criteria, corrective actions can be done with forecasting and introducing some suitable techniques for hazard identification and problem solving. With implementation of the integrated performance measuring system unsafe behavior, musculoskeletal disorder, environmental indicators deviation of standards and declaration of corresponding organization was decreased 11%, 8%, 13% and 50% respectively. To improve the system performance, the continuous correction of indicators and related decision criteria, regular training of personal and implementation of award system are suggested.
