A Bandwidth Efficient Channel Coding Scheme for MC-CDMA System over Frequency Non-Selective Rayleigh Fading Channels

In this paper, we propose a novel bandwidth efficient channel coding scheme for MC-CDMA communication system. By using the proposed scheme, the coded MC-CDMA system needs to the same bandwidth as the uncoded one. In this paper, we evaluate the performance of the proposed coding scheme over uplink and downlink frequency non-selective Rayleigh fading channels. Our analytical and numerical results show that the proposed coding scheme, without using of any extra bandwidth, significantly improves the performance of the uncoded MC-CDMA system over fading channels.
