An Overview of Cloud Computing and Its Related Security Issues

Cloud computing is defined as a type of computing that relies on sharing computing resources rather than having local servers or personal devices to handle applications. In cloud computing, the word cloud (also phrased as the cloud ) is used as a metaphor for the Internet, so the phrase cloud computing means a type of Internet-based computing, where different services such as servers, storage and applications which are delivered to an organization's computers and devices through the Internet. However, there still exist many problems in cloud computing today such as data security and privacy risks which have become the primary concerns for people to shift to cloud computing. In this article we attempt to discuss the cloud computing and its related security issues. The methodology used in this article is descriptive and library, and related scientific publications have been used to collect the required materials
