چکیده مقاله:
This research is about a color system in Iranian-Islamic architecture, which was extracted from almost 200 interviews about color perception . A question was asked of visitors after visiting three colorful buildings known as ChehelSotoon Palace-Garden, SheikhLotfollah Mosque, Haronieyh Shrine of Safavid Dynasty (1501-1736AD) in Isfahan Iran at 2008. Their answers were checked out under supervision of a neuroscientist and a psychotherapist . The model has tri-colored, Red, Bule and Green. Tri-Guna Theory, of Hindo Ductrin of the Vedic texts is used as the guiding framwork for shapig and intrperating this TRI-CHROMATIC system as 2D Triangulr form. According to René Guénon(1996), the three Gunas are essential, constitutive and primordial qualities or attributes of beings envisaged in their different states of manifestation. (p.23). The purpose of this research is to add a new color model not just artistic but also esoteric to 59 color systems from the antiquity to modern times in art and science (Silvestrini&Fischer, (n.d). Phenomenology approach was applied for analyzing data. The finding shows that Green illustrates the spiritual state and it can be considered as light while Red and Blue as colors belongs to domain of materiality.
