Due to the problems associated with Clayey Sand type of soils in terms of bearing capacity and sufficient resistance, it seems to be investigated such soils in order to improve their compressive strength. As decreasing the size of particles to Nano scale, its properties considerably change. In this study, iron oxide nanoparticles II and multi-walled carbon nanotubes have been used in several percentages, by the manner of mixing via ball mill, to increase the compressive strength by axial tests of the soil containing %08 sand and %08 clay. Experimental results indicate that by using a mixture of 05%.8, 05.8, %8 weight of iron oxide nanoparticles and multi-walled carbon nanotubes in the soil by the best procedure of mixing Nano ingredients with ball mill, the compressive strength of soil mixture with multi-walled carbon nanotubes will be more increased rather than soil mixture with iron oxide nanoparticles II, up to almost %.08.Also scanning electron microscope (SEM) images through the best and the most convenient dispersal procedures by Ball-mill of tests results, can show nanoparticles role as the best filler in the mixture of clayey sand soil to enhancement the compressive strength
