چکیده مقاله:

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of shoe outsole containing nano clayparticles on ankle joint power flow during stance phase of running. 20 physical education male students run threetimes at 3.5 m/s under three shoe conditions that their sole manufactured by polyurethane (PU), 1% polyurethanesnanoclay composites (NPU2) and 2% polyurethanes-nano clay composites (NPU2) on force plate and was captured byfive cameras. In the sagittal plane, running in NPU2 caused to increase in positive peak of ankle power flow incompare to running in PU and NPU1 conditions. In the frontal plane, running in NPU2 caused to increase in positivepeak of ankle power flow as compared to running in PU and NPU1 conditions. Using 2% nano Clay particles in NPU2increased joints power in sagittal plane, which may result in better performance. But, this shoe had increased thepower flow values as compared to PU and NPU1 condition in frontal plane that may increase running related injuries.
