چکیده مقاله:

Self-assembly method used to prepare streptokinase (Spa) and chitosan (Cs) nanoparticles (NPs).Concentration of Cs, pH of solution and stirring time as independent variables were studied to identify their effects onpolydispersity index (PDI) of prepared NPs using Box-Behnken design. Results showed minimum PDI was observed atminimum concentration of Cs and highest values of stirring time. Also to obtain the smallest PDI a specific pH value(~5.6) was necessary. The model predicted that the optimum values are 0.5 mg/ml, 5.18 and 30 min for the Csconcentration, solution pH and stirring time, respectively. The obtained preparation was predicted to have PDI of0.29. By experimentally preparation of NPs in optimum values of Cs concentration, pH and stirring time, NPs had amean PDI of 0.31 (± 0.23). Comparison of the experimental results with predicted values by the model shows a goodagreement between the two data sets, indicating the ability of the model to predict and optimize the data.
