چکیده مقاله:

In this study, the bioactive glass nanoparticles have been prepared by a quick-alkali mediated sol-gel methodin the system of SiO2-CaO-P2O5-CuO. The prepared glass nanoparticles of 1, 3 mol% of CuO were characterized byXRD, FTIR, DLS and SEM. The structure of glasses was studied by FTIR and XRD. The particle size and morphologyof glass nanoparticles were measured using FESEM and DLS techniques. All glass samples revealed amorphous phasewith spherical morphology, having a particle size less than 100nm. The results indicate that the bioactive glassnanoparticles containing CuO could be formed by sol-gel process under appropriate conditions. Furthermore, thebioactivity of glass samples was confirmed by the formation of apatite layer on the surfaces of glasses during immersionin simulated body fluid (SBF).
