چکیده مقاله:

Zr-Mg and Ni-Zr-Mg nanoparticles were prepared by sol–gel method and characterized by X-ray Diffraction(XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), BET surface area analysis and EDX Dot-mapping. The OxidativeDehydrogenation of Ethane (ODHE) to ethylene was used to evaluate catalytic performance of the synthesized samplesin reaction. MgO in order to promote the reaction selectivity with the aid of its basic characteristic was used. On the otherhand ZrO2 because of its activity toward the reaction was employed in the synthesis. The presence of Ni in preparedcatalyst demonstrated obvious changes in structural characteristics, products distribution and the desired product yield.Ni that has been reported to be effective in ODH has an improved catalytic performance giving an ethylene yield of53.9%.
