چکیده مقاله:

The purpose of this work was to evaluate the effect of gold nano particles incorporated in anexperimental dental adhesive on mechanical properties. Adhesive containing aceton, bis‐GMA,UDMA,TMPTMA, HEMA and CQ as a photo‐initiator system. For Removing of water from the nanoparticles, nanoparticles were precipitated by centrifuge for 30 mins and speed of 16000xg. The precipitates weredissolved in different volumes of dental bondig to differeten concentration of the nanoparticles obtained. Ifwas assumed that the initial concentration of nanoparticles was 1X. Colloidal gold nanoparticles wereincorporated into the adhesive system in different concentrations of X/10,X/5,1X,5X,10X . The suspensionswere ultrasonocated to facilitate the nanoparticle dispersion. To study the mechanical properties ofadhesives containing nanoparticles, flexural strength and tensile strength were measured. SEM was utilizedto observe the Fracture surface of flexural strength to study fracture mechanisms. Results show that themechanical strength of adhesive increased with increasing concentration of gold nanoparticles from x/10 to10x and The optimum concentration of gold nanoparticles is 5x.
