Sol-gel synthesis and characterization of YSZ nano powder

In this research, aqueous sol‐gel route has been utilized for synthesis of yttria‐stabilized zirconia powderusing YNO3.6H2O and Zirconium chloride as precursors and acetic acid and ethylene glycolas complex agents. Theresulting gel was dried and subsequently was calcined at 1000 and 1450C to study the effect of calcination temperatureon the crystallization using XRD, STA and FTIR.
