چکیده مقاله:

Carbon Nanotubes(CNTs) were produced by chemical vapor deposition of acetylene at 700°C over a mixtureof iron and cobalt catalysts supported on nanometric TiO2 with different mass ratios, synthesized by wet impregnationmethod. The nanomaterials (catalysts and CNTs) were characterized using XRD and field emission scanning electronmicroscopy (FE‐SEM). The results confirmed that rutile phase of TiO2 nanopowder can be applied as an appropriatesupport material for catalytic production of CNTs. Furthermore it was observed that in comparison with monometallicFe or Co, bimetallic compositions of them exhibit very better catalytic activity for the CNTs growth. The maximumamount of CNTs with the minimum average diameter was obtained on Fe‐Co/TiO2 catalyst with mass ratio compositionof 10‐10/80.
