چکیده مقاله:

A study has been carried out to investigate the incorporation of lanthanum (III) chloride into coatings formedon 1010 aluminium using DC plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) in silicate electrolytes containing lanthanum (III)chloride. In this study to reached nanocomposite structure, Si3N4 nano powder was added to electrolyte. The effects oflanthanum (III) chloride additive on the voltage response, microstructure, compositions, wear and corrosion resistanceof PEO coatings were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive spectrum (EDS), X-raydiffraction (XRD), Fourier transform spectroscopy (FTIR) and cyclic polarization tests, etc. In addition, current densityand concentration of additive were studied as parameters that were effective on coating.
