Synthesize of Monolayer Graphene from Graphite via Effective Route by Eco-friendly Vitamin C

Graphene oxide (GO) has been synthesized via hummer's method then has reduced it with eco-friendlyascorbic acid in this work. Characterization of GO and chemical reduction graphene (CRG) by FT-IR spectroscopy wasshowed the oxidation groups in GO and lack of them in CRG. XRD suggested that the distance between graphene sheetsincrease by oxidation, Uv-Vis spectrophotometry was illustrated the carboxyl groups in GO and enhanced the sp2conjugation in CRG. Finally SEM and AFM were showed the monolayer graphene sheets and the size of them.
