Study of Ni-Ba binary oxide nano particles via thermal decomposition of inorganic precursor complex method

The present investigation reports the synthesis of nickel barium binary oxide nanoparticles, NiBaO2, using anovel method, thermal decomposition of inorganic precursor complex and characterization of them. The NiBaO2nanoparticles with uniform size around 62-110 nm have been prepared using [Ni(H2O)6][Ba(acac)4] complex as precursorfollowed by heat treatment at 1000°C. The structure and particle size of prepared nanoparticles were characterized bypowder X-ray diffraction(XRD), furrier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) and scanning electronmicroscopy(SEM/EDX).
