چکیده مقاله:

In this study, a comprehensive study was performed on the use of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide-coatediron oxide nanoparticle mixed hemimicelles adsorbent for the extraction and preconcentration of mefenamic acid frombiological fluids and it was shown that the adsorbent is quite efficient for fast adsorption and easy separation ofmefenamic acid. Various parameters affecting the extraction efficiency, such as surfactant amount, desorption conditions,amount of adsorbent and sample volume were evaluated. Under the optimized conditions, the calibration curve was linearin the range of 50-750 ng mL-1 with correlation coefficient of 0.9996. The limit of detection of 11 ng mL-1 and relativestandard deviation (RSD %) of 1.4 % (C=200 ng mL-1, n=5) were obtained. The method was successfully applied to thedetermination of mefenamic acid in human plasma and urine samples and good recoveries were obtained.
