چکیده مقاله:

The effect of various compositions on the physicochemical and catalytic performance in the steam methanol reformingprocess was investigated. Different characteristic analyses such as XRD, FESEM and BET techniques were applied andconcluded that sample with composition of CuO/ZnO/Al2O3=30/50/20 has smaller and more homogeneous particleswhich also leads to better specific surface area. These better characteristic properties lead to better methanol conversionand on the other hand more CO production. This is because of better interaction of copper and zinc species and decreaseof alumina unfavourable influence on this interaction.
