Effect of Reservoir Heterogeneities on Reservoir Pressure Behavior

Heterogeneities , variation in rock and fluid properties from one location to another may result from deposition , folding and faulting , post depositional changes in reservoir lithology , and changes fluid type or properties . This article discusses the effects of some common reservoir heterogeneities on pressure behavior . Eclipse 100 was employed to simulate the reservoir . It was found that pressure reservoir behavior in a fractured reservoir is more different from other heterogeneities .
