چکیده مقاله:
In all eras, reflections of environmental changes, can be identified and followed up in human’s lifestyles and building constructions. At the present time, in addition to climate changes, emerging technologies in the construction industry, have caused inevitable changes in lifestyle and construction methods. As sustainable architecture has been accepted as the optimum response to these changes, it is necessary to quantify the tendency of people to these approach, because implementation of the principles of sustainable architecture is impossible without residents’ participation and their approval. In this research, feedbacks of elimination of energy carriers on people tendency to sustainable architecture have been identified using an applied research, descriptive-analytical method and field study. Residents of northern cities of Iran where selected as case study and questionnaires were distributed among residents of different quarters of Ghaemshahr. Collected data had been evaluated with SPSS software and T-Test exam. Classification of all data have made it possible to evaluate public attitude towards sustainable architecture and results have been analyzed to propose best solutions.
