Historic streets of city are a location of the manifestation of civil life even to and social activities of citizens.designing urban streets is not limited only to their creation but also to providing the most efficient use of space, presence, mobility and accessibility is important.The purpose of this study is to investigate the problems of traffic among the historical streets and providing a comprehensive solution for designing the street of Fath Ali Shahi in Kerman according to approach of social interactions.Nowadays , most historic streets have become a way to escape the traffic of nearby streets.Unfortunately, unlike the historical potential , the migration of the indigenous people from the street is so common. Fath Ali Shah has also become a way to cross the roadway street.This street with the valuable historical and cultural potential can cause a remarkable improvement in social interactions of this region by giving more value to the citizens and making a further attendance .With regard to the question of how will done the appropriate design approach to increase social interaction on the streets Fath Ali Shah in Kerman? It seems that the main factor to enhance social interaction on this streets can be changing it in to a pavement .Finally, it concluded that changing Fath Ali Shah Avenue in to a sidewalk can bring about increasing social interaction in the case study.Therefore, there is a significant relation between designing pavement and social interaction.
