Evaluating the efficiency of daylight position in interior design space

Light is considered as one of the most prominent factors in human life and activity. The presence of light in buildings helps maximize architectural potential and increasing human comfort and visual perception. In many architectural styles, the light is used as the most important factor in building description. However, the large amounts of money which almost are more than construction costs are spent to light building spaces. The actions that are taken to reduce the costs are renewing lighting equipments in efficiency direction, controlling the tools in effectiveness direction, and using natural light. In many developed and undeveloped countries, there have been many efforts to design buildings which use a large percentage of natural light. The present study is aimed to investigate the performance of natural light in buildings’ interior design space and its effect on mental and physical heath and economy.
