In the running controversy (2007) about genetically modified organism (GMO’s), in particular with GM crops used in modern agriculture, the view of the public is of great importance. The often negative public acceptability, as it is taken by some shareholders for granted, cannot be resolved without deconstructing the numerous myths circulating in the media, and also in some journals, since they have an important influence in the discourse (Marris, 2001). It is also important to realize that we need to renew the dialogue, especially with the public (Marris & Rose, 2010) (Ammann, 2007; Ammann & Papazova Ammann, 2004; Ammann et al., 2004), but also with farmers, which are too often left out in the academic debates
