چکیده مقاله:

The purpose of the present review is to clarify the effect of reading on writing performanceof EFL learners. In this regard it represents reading as a meaning-making process and themodel for writing which leaners employ to improve their writing proficiency. However thisreview can be a ground work for further researches to address the connection between thesetwo receptive and productive skills to enhance the usage of English by EFL learnersworldwide.
