Comparative Study of Female and Male EFL Learners Regarding Their Inside and Outside Classroom Autonomous Activities

Over the past two decades, much attention has been drawn to the concept of autonomy andindependence in language learning. This study was conducted in order to investigate thedifferences and similarities of autonomous activities between female and male language learnersinside and outside of classroom. A Likert-type questionnaire consisting of twenty-one items wasadministered to 20 males and 20 females Master’s student. The results suggest that there is notmuch difference between females and males autonomous activities.
