Culture; a New Horizon in Language Teaching

The aim of this paper is to investigate the relationship between language and culture. Culture is learnt and transmitted through language. As a matter of fact language can be defined as a meansof verbal expression of culture: That Is language and culture are integrated to each other. To thisaim the present study seeks to answer the following questions: what is language? What is culture? Is there any significant relationship between language and culture? In order to answer the following questions several studies have been investigated. The findings of the study showthat there is a significant relationship between language and culture.
