The effect of plant densities and difference amount of nitrogen on morphologic characteristic & seed yield Of Indian mustard

Effect of plant density and amount of nitrogen fertilizer application on some agronomiccharacteristics of Indian mustard were studied as a RCBD design with split plotarrangement with three replications in ٢٠٠٩-٢٠١٠ growing season at Research field ofTakestan Azad University. In this study, subplots were consisted of three levels of plantdensity (i.e., ٨٠, ١٠٠ and ١٢٠ plants/m٢ and main plots were five levels of nitrogenfertilizer: ٠, ٥٠, ١٠٠, ١٥٠ and ٢٠٠ kg N/ha). The results showed that plant density andnitrogen levels affected number of seeds per siliqua, number of siliquae per plant, Plantheight, harvest index ,Seed yield, oil yield, ١٠٠٠-seed weight and biologic yield. TheHighest grain yield and oil yield (٢٩٦١ and ١١١٥ Kg/ha, respectively) were obtained withdensity of ٨٠ plants /m٢ and application of nitrogen fertilizer at ٢٠٠ kg N/ha & the highestPlant height were obtained with ١٢٠ plants per m٢ and application ٢٠٠ kg N/ha.
