چکیده

Leadership is a process enacted in the context of a shared group membership, and leadership effectiveness is contingenton followers' perceptions of the leader as a group member. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of theleadership styles on the outcomes of leadership. In addition, the study was conducted in the form of a survey, with databeing gathered via questionnaire. Data was collected from 218 women working in Iran the Ministry of Health andMedical Education. The participants completed the questionnaires of leadership styles. Path analysis was conductedusing Lisrel program. The results revealed that leadership styles had positive effect on the outcomes of leadership andtransformational leadership was significantly and positively associated with desirable leadership outcomes such as extraeffort, satisfaction and their effectiveness. Transactional and Laissez-faire leadership had not any effect on outcomes ofleadership.
