چکیده مقاله:
Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) aerosol products have been widely used to address environment and climate change subjects with daily global coverage. Aerosol optical depth (AOD) is retrieved by different algorithms based on the pixel surface, determining between land and ocean. MODIS-Terra and Global Aerosol Robotic Network (AERONET) products can be obtained from the Multi-sensor Aerosol Products Sampling System (MAPSS, http://giovanni. gsfc.nasa.gov/mapss/) for both coastal and non-Coastal regions during 2002–2010. MAPSS is used for Validation and intercomparison of aerosol measurements from different sensors and instruments, got at different locations and time around the world. Our Primary results illustrate that the Ocean algorithm generally has a slope<1, implicating that it undervalues AOD near the coast and expect too much for non-coastal locations. Generally the Dark Target Land algorithm demonstrates better than the Ocean algorithm for coastal regions and The Land algorithm correlation meliorates as location moves inland but is less impressed than the Ocean algorithm.
