The 5th Container Terminal Construction Project in the Port of Kaohsiung

The 5th Container Terminal of the Port of Kaohsiung is the state-of-the-art port facility with draught of 15 meters. Besides it can accommodate the latest 5th generation container ships of 7,000+ TEUs, the berth structure design of vertical wall plus deck -type combination is the first example of its kind in Taiwan. The design concept and construction experience of this project is worthwhile to open for discussion.
