چکیده مقاله:

The concept of knowledge management is not new in information systems practice and research. This concept has been emerging from the first years of human living.Knowledge management is the name given to the set of systematic and disciplined actions that an organization can take to obtain the greatest value from the knowledge available. In the present world economy, knowledge has become a key resource and is very vital for the survival of the organization in the future.Health organization’s activity is covered by traditional Health Information Systems which evolved from mundane tasks such as admission, discharge and transfer, to patient billing, then to more sophisticated tasks such as clinical information management, advanced laboratory systems, simulation, and image processing. Lack of integration and difficulties in obtaining key information have led to a number of major HIS revisions.Today’s Knowledge Management is an essential tool in emerging healthcare system and hospitals that seek to understand the involved human element in the process.
