Proactive and reactive strategies for project resource levelling

resource levelling problem considers resource usage pattern in project plan attempts to create a levelled baseline schedule. During execution however, some disruptions may occur activites may take longer or shorter than expected. These disruptions tpgether with reactive decisions bring us to a realized schedule which may not be levelled any more at the and of project. we propose different proactive and reactive strategies in planning and in execution and via an extensive simulation - based analysis evalute effectiveness the strategies. additonally, we show how traditional efforts to construct a levelled baseline might be fruitless in practice.
