چکیده مقاله:
Nanotechnology in food industry includes a wide range of applications. One of mostimportant is detecting small amounts of chemical pollutants, viruses and bacteria in. Using acombination of biology and technology at nano-scale makes response time of the sensor isfaced with the problem reduced, leading to greater safety for processed food. Use ofnanotechnology in food packaging has beneficial advantages health, industry and trading.Applying nano sensors and nano-based methods for detecting food-related analytes such as:organic molecules, small gas and food borne pathogens classified as smart packaging. In thismethod chemical and biological sensors monitor the quality and safety of food frombeginning to the end. Sensors could be designed for identifying several factors such ashumidity, pathogens, spill, carbon dioxide, oxygen, pH and temperature. Use of bio-sensorsbased on nanotechnology provides small, portable, easy to use, low cost and a wide variety ofdiagnostic tools in smart packaging. Smart packaging has become increasingly popular due toapplying nanotechnology methods, biological sensors that leads to consumer awareness offood spoilage. Thus, system creates a link between consumers and packages and is far moreaccurate and safe.
