چکیده مقاله:

In this paper, the effects of Newtonian and non- Newtonian assumptions of blood flow on the transport of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) through a semi-permeable arterial wall are numerically investigated. The artery as one axisymmetric model with 60% stenosis under pulsatile flow with and without FSI effects is studied. It is shown that the maximum accumulation of LDL in arterial wall is allocated in the area of the flow separation point in the model with FSI and without it. In addition, more LDL accumulation in arterial wall is predicted using Newtonian fluid modeling.
