چکیده مقاله:
However, the growing number of IoT devices has raised the demand for trustworthy networking, but the existing hybrid SDN approaches are not effective enough in handling reliability, bandwidth, fault tolerance, and security. This research work proposes a hybrid SDN solution that integrates multifactor authentication, reliability-aware adaptive routing, and blockchain trust management to enhance the reliability of IoT networks. Using an experimental simulation approach, this research work used Mininet and NS-۳ to simulate ۱۰۰-۵۰۰ IoT devices for different topologies, including systematic fault injection and performance analysis using quantitative techniques such as ANOVA and regression analysis. Simulation results for ۱۵۰ experiments showed that the proposed solution outperformed the existing centralized SDN and traditional distributed networks by achieving a reliability measure of ۹۸.۷%, a packet delivery ratio of over ۹۵%, a latency reduction of ۴۲%, and a mean time to recovery of ۸۵ ms. Moreover, the machine learning and blockchain component was able to identify ۹۶.۸% of the simulated threats with very low false positives and improve the efficiency of resource allocation by ۳۵%. The findings confirm the effectiveness of the proposed framework in dealing with issues of reliability bandwidth trade-offs, optimizing the integration of centralized and distributed control, and leveraging the latest technologies for adaptive security. The research work emphasizes the use of hybrid SDN for enabling robust and secure IoT solutions for critical applications like smart healthcare and industrial automation.
