چکیده مقاله:

Modern video surveillance systems increasingly rely on Internet Protocol (IP) cameras that are capable of detecting events such as motion, intrusion, and abnormal behavior. Efficient handling of such events is essential for maintaining real-time situational awareness in security monitoring environments. However, many conventional monitoring systems still use polling-based mechanisms in which a central server periodically requests status updates from cameras. This approach increases network overhead and introduces delays between event occurrence and event detection. In contrast, event-driven architectures enable cameras to transmit notifications only when a relevant event occurs, thereby reducing unnecessary communication and improving responsiveness. This paper presents the design and implementation of a security-oriented event-driven CCTV alarm monitoring system developed using native PHP without external frameworks. The proposed system receives alarm notifications from IP cameras, validates incoming data, stores event information in a relational database, and displays alerts through a web-based monitoring dashboard. To improve security, the system incorporates HTTPS-based communication, authentication tokens, and replay attack protection using timestamp validation. Experimental evaluation in a simulated multi-camera environment shows that the proposed architecture reduces detection latency and network traffic compared with traditional polling-based solutions while maintaining suitability for lightweight web-hosting environments.
