چکیده مقاله:

Accurate liquid level measurement in industrial processes is essential for safety, process optimization, and operational efficiency. This study presents a simulation-based performance comparison of three commonly used level measurement sensors: Ultrasonic, Non-Contact Radar, and Guided Wave Radar (GWR), implemented using MATLAB M-File. The models account for realistic industrial conditions including vapor, dust, foam, high temperature and pressure, and low dielectric liquids. Performance metrics such as Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), and Standard Deviation (SD) are computed for each sensor. Simulation results indicate that Ultrasonic sensors are suitable for clean environments but their accuracy degrades under vapor and dust. Non-Contact Radar sensors maintain stable performance under harsh conditions but show slight reduction in accuracy for low dielectric liquids. GWR sensors exhibit the highest accuracy and stability across all scenarios, making them ideal for challenging industrial environments. These findings provide a quantitative and practical guide for selecting the most appropriate sensor for industrial level measurement applications.
