چکیده مقاله:
This study details the synthesis and characterization of a MIL-۵۳(Al)-(NH۲)@α-Fe۲O۳ composite for efficient tetracycline removal from water, leveraging synergistic adsorption and photocatalytic degradation. A Design of Experiments (DOE) approach optimized the process, identifying MF-۳ as the optimal composite, with optimal conditions of ۴۰ mg MOF, ۵۰ mg/L tetracycline concentration, pH=۴, and ۳۰ minutes reaction time under sunlight irradiation. Kinetic studies indicated pseudo-second-order kinetics, suggesting chemisorption. Sunlight irradiation proved most effective, with a mechanism involving hydroxyl and superoxide radicals, further enhanced by adding oxidizing agents (ozone, hydrogen peroxide, or oxygen). The composite showed good reusability (five cycles), although long-term stability requires further investigation. Importantly, ۸۵% tetracycline removal was achieved from a real urban wastewater sample, demonstrating the composite's practical applicability for environmental remediation. The optimal composite (MF-۳) outperformed other variations (MF-۱ and MF-۲) across all tested conditions.
