چکیده مقاله:

This research assesses the behavioral performance of two-span and three-span reinforced concrete bridges, featuring ۵۰ cm thick deck slabs, under vertical distributed loading. The primary objective is to compare the influence of the number of spans on stress distribution and vertical displacement within these structures. Finite element models for both bridge configurations were developed and analyzed, considering deck continuity and concrete material properties. Results indicate that the three-span bridge experiences significantly higher stress concentrations and greater vertical deformations compared to the two-span bridge under identical loading. These findings suggest that the two-span design offers greater stiffness and stability against deformations under the investigated conditions, while the three-span system requires more rigorous consideration of load distribution and bending moments. Understanding these differences is crucial for optimizing bridge configuration selection based on performance and safety requirements.
